Baby news!

I know it's been awhile since i have posted anything. My son is sleeping and hubby is still working. He has been working since 7 this morning. I had a doctor's appointment today. I am 16 weeks and 6 days. We find out what the sex of the baby is on february 5th. We are so very excited and can't wait to find out. I am hoping that it is a girl. That way we can be completely done with babies. I think i am starting to feel little baby movements. It feels different than gas that's why i can tell plus i have already experienced the baby movement once before. Dr. Carlson says i am doing really great and baby's heartrate was 154 today. good rate for baby. He says growth wise i am actually a little ahead. I hope i don't have a huge baby. They told me that Dane would have been an 8 or 9 lb baby if he would have been full term. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I have also lost 4 more lbs. That means that since my first appointment i have lost about 6 lbs. That is really good compared to pregnancy #1. I had already gained about 10-15 lbs by this point last time. I was a massive eater and didn't care. This baby decided it wanted to make the first few months hell for me. I am finally over my sickness phase but still haven't gained weight. I am kind of glad because i don't really want to start wearing maaternity clothes just yet. They are expensive and hard to find stuff that you like. Luckily Monica bought me some for Christmas. I got out my box of clothes from Dane and realized that i didn't even get to wear most of it. I never got big enough. Oh well this time i will for sure. As long as nothing bad happens. So keep your fingers crossed that this baby stays in the oven until she/he is fully cooked. We don't need anymore NICU babies. Although he still was the cutest tiny baby ever. I can't believe he is already 2. He has grown up so fast. He talks so much i can't believe it. I can actually hold conversations with him and know what he is saying. He is my Genius baby. We love him so much. He will be the best big brother in the world. Besides mine of course.
